Little Old Man Named Kid

Right this way said a little old man named kid
I'm going to take you down the road and show you what I just did
A bold untold tall tale from him to me
Kids going to get put away on third degree
Mountains of morals spilling from his psyche
I stand by dressed right up to the nine
My body's burning
A feeling returning
The mission of sin
That's why you don't hang out with old kid
Right down here kid says lets go and see a movie
It's black and white and it feels kind of sixties groovy
I spilled a drink on the crew in front of me
They turn around and hit me with their hollow demon eyes
And the old man just oozed his immunity
I'll just hold it in and take the hit I thought
It'll be a funny story next time I'm at the bar

Coast To Coast

A brown leather bag filled with everything I need to survive
Nothing more than what you've seen me leave with
And I am by the ocean walking coast to coast
And I am by the riverbank hiking towards the borderline
I gaze upon the reeds and kindly leave
Residing conversations I overheard as a kid
I can't quite remember
I can't quite remember what they said
A ball and a chain with handcuffs attached to them that read "It's Ok"
Nothing more than what you've seen me swim with
And I am by the ocean walking coast to coast
And I am in an aeroplane listening to my favourite song on repeat
A silent emergency
Acid rain falls upon the wing
I guess you never know when the hell you're going to lose or win
I can't quite remember
I can't quite recall when I first felt responsible

Sign Of The Times
03:23
|

We left for the hills in June and time has been still since then
I look out across the tallest hills and I cannot see the sun
We met at a bar in summer cause' that's the place i like to meet
The candles sway in ballet style but I can not see your eyes
It's a sign of the times
Were not alright, alright?
The constant fight for happiness
The constant switch of mood
I arrived at a tunnel in New South Wales carved into a hill
And I'm not even sure why I bought that up because I'm surely not there still
Though I wish you'd have seen it
The wind on that journey was warm
From your touch again I was torn
Swept of my path like wood chips by some kind of push to be reborn
It's a sign of the times
Were not alright, alright?
The constant fight for happiness
The constant switch of mood
We left for the moon in Julune to find a special grain of sand
So I hopped in the car and I drove and I drove but I could not resist going home
There's a lot to be said about turning back
Slipping back down that same old comfort crack
I drifted off to sleep first thing last Monday
Stuck inside a sex dream
And I hope I wake up happy
